For several years, NDEBUMOG conducted awareness campaigns on Nigeria’s Freedom of Information Act, Public Procurement Act, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission Act, Nigeria Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative Act, Fiscal Responsibility Act, alongside, advocacies for amendment of related legislations. NDEBUMOG has been among organizations that has campaign for the passage of the Petroleum Industry Bill, the National Budget Bill, together, with other pillar of integrity awareness campaigns that are usually integrated to NDEBUMOG’s programmatic equilibrium for responsive fiscal returns for Nigerian society. Some are not stated here but forms democratic ingredients for sustainable development.

Awareness campaigns for basic economic literacy, gender equity, fiscal inclusion and transparency are matters considered among NDEBUMOG’s day-to-day existential mandate. In line with the realism of NDEBUMOG’s institutional motto, there can be no justice, without transparency, whilst transparency cannot be assumed to be fair, without commensurate justice. In essence, these factors define NDEBUMOG’s motto – transparency and justice , side by side, with communal essentiality of awareness campaigns for equitable society and democratic sustainability.
