HH (Dr) George-Hill Anthony , is an anti-corruption expert, a public finance expenditure evaluator, budget analyst, researcher and corruption shadow examiner, among others. He oversees and direct affairs at Niger Delta Budget Monitoring Group’s headquarters, alongside (36) other affiliates of the organization. He is the convener of Nigeria’s Civic Space Protection Alliance (NCSPA) that was unveiled in 2022, with over one hundred members across Nigeria. Between 2019 and 2020, he provided directional coordination to Tax Justice & Governance Platforms across 16 States of Nigeria through the Niger Delta Budget Monitoring Group (NDEBUMOG) as was mandated by an INGO. These (Tax Justice & Governance Platforms) are outside Niger Delta Budget Monitoring Group’s (36) affiliates, mentioned above. High Chief George-Hill is with over two decades’ background in civil rights activism and development’s work. He was the Pioneer (elected) National Chairman of Coalition for Accountability and Transparency in Extractive Industries, Forestry and Fisheries in Nigeria (CATEIFFN) from 2009-2011. He was re-elected as National Chairman of CATEIFFN in 2011 but resigned afterwards for personal reason(s). Between 2009 to 2010, he was a member of the Board of West Africa Civil Society Forum (WACSOF) in Nigeria, alongside, getting elected as Civil Society Liaison (Contact Person) of Nigeria’s Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative- Civil Society Steering Committee from 2009-2011. He was, equally, elected to Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) ANCOR’s Board from 2010- 2012. He was a Member of the Board of National Procurement Watch Platform from 2008 to 2011 that he resigned voluntarily.
